I got these curtain/shades to put on long sliding glass doors and a door windown in a closed in patio -in which we installed a free standing air coniditioner. We wanted to shut out too much heat coming into that /closed patio room thru the glass that would heat up the patio and render the air conditioner less efficient . It worked very well witout closing off All the light for paito ambiance. the shades are well made for the price , look very nice in the room and I would recommned them . I did not have any of the problems others talked about and am happy with my purchase . I got the light whitish colored ones for the light to filter through and yet stop the direct heat from the sun . It worked as well as I expected . I have bought quite a few items over the years from Great Offer Stock .com and have been pleased with all my purchases -I always start on this website when I am shopping onoline to compare prices and Great Offer Stock does very well overall in price competitiveness .
I can't believe that I almost canceled this order, thinking that I needed to buy a more expensive window treatment. It is a classic design, well constructed and looks like a design feature rather than an inexpensive window treatment. It allows light in and leaves a softly muted shadow - not for full occlusion.

I had to order these twice. The first time the color was not at all as it appeared on the site. I reordered, and the second order came with small tears in the rice paper. Not at all acceptable. Great Offer Stock did pay for the return of the damaged merchandise, but I had to pay return shipping for the order where the color was not right.

I have had a pair of shoji blinds for about 20 years and needed to replace one and match the other. The blinds are ordered are exactly what I wanted and match the one I still have almost perfectly --the difference is the distance between the hooks, but that's no problem. These blinds are inexpensive, easy to hang and I love the look. They arrived intact and very quickly. I expect them to last just as long as my older ones.
