Better than expected
VERIFIED PURCHASEI bought this because my girlfriend's AC in her house does not work effectively and I thought, well maybe we can put this in the bedroom as a temporary fix for the summer. I live in Houston where it is both humid and in the 90s at night. That stated this unit is not suppose to work. When we run it in the room at medium we usually end up waking up underneath the winter comforter. The fan is quiet and the effective... the only drawbacks are the annoying lights and the design of the button console, bc the buttons are not exactly intuitive... but we consider this a minor drawback. I don't thik this unit would work if there was no AC in the house, but since the compromised AC does dehumidify the air slightly and lower the temperature a bit, this unit is able to make a remarkable improvement in the air quality. I am very happy with the product.

VERIFIED PURCHASEAm very happy with this portable AC unit; it cools quite a large area, with a little assistance from a small fan on the floor to disperse the cool air; it is a little bit loud, but just have to turn the TV volume up some.

Very nice
VERIFIED PURCHASEHeater is very nice and quiet. Heats much better than my other smaller space heaters. The remote doesn't work; haven't needed it yet so will deal with that. But very pleased with the heater itself.

Works well
VERIFIED PURCHASEWorks well, the bottom is weighted so it's not so tipsy. The cost is a little high for a fan..... over $50. ?? But, that's what you get when you need a space saving one I guess. I like the remote that comes with it, you can change the speed or direction without having to get up. But it does not have anyplace to store the remote when not in use, unless you tape it to the fan. Heaters I have bought that have remotes, have a storage compartment for the remote. This fan has nothing, so be careful with it. Other than that, and the price, it is a nice fan.
