  These gates are perfect to keep your pets out of rooms that you do not want them in. They are high enough and sturdy to deter a pet. I have unusual size doorways and angles which make all the other type of gates useless to me. These gates are not attached to your wall and stand on their own plus they fold up and are light and narrow to hide them away when company comes and you want the doorway open. I bought two and live them.

  This is a good expandable pet gate that is easy to set up and it stays in place without a problem. The only drawback on it is that I can't step over it very easily. Therefore, if you need to get through the area where you are putting this gate, you might want to opt for a pet gate with a walk through door made into it.

  Total design revision needed. The tension system is weak. The gate only opens 90 degrees and very narrow opening. Doesn't adequately fit an opening larger than 36" even when claims to be a wide opening gate. I think 3 stars is generous for this gate. A small dog can get through the gate with ease...and not through the door either. My husband had to paint 2x4" shims to attach the gate to make it fit our opening from the kitchen. Will be coming down as soon as the new puppy is housebroken!

  Love this gate. I was using a metal gate at the door to my Florida room. It was always awkward to have to release the spring handle to get into the room. This folding gate keeps the dogs out when necessary and still lets the cats go through. Also it is a lot easier to move away for cleaning or when I have to wheel a cart through that door. Neat!
