wiwriter Rating:5.0I ordered one of these Seville fans for an upstairs bedroom. I ended up carrying it up and down the stairs everyday so I could use it in my office downstairs. I finally just ordered a second one. I love that it takes up very little space and, even on the highest fan setting, it's very quiet (a visitor who used the bedroom had no trouble going to sleep - said it was like having quiet white noise in the room). They're both running 24/7 right now to help with cooling the house and they're holding up wonderfully. The fan has 3 timer options - 1, 2, and 4 hrs (meaning it will stop running at those intervals - not start). I haven't used the timer - just let the fans run. Highly recommend this fan.

Sandra N. Rating:4.0This fan is great and has been working fine since I received it. I like how it has a remote and various settings. My only complaint is that the fan is a bit loud at night when I'm trying to sleep.

OstkUser85689 Rating:4.0This fan looks nice and the remote control works great. I am pleased with it. It is light enough to pick up and move easily. I wish it was a little more powerful, but this is a fan and not an airconditioner. I would recommend purchasing this fan.

OstkUser111136 Rating:4.0It's a really powerful fan! No kidding, I had to use my duvet even with this guy turned on in the summer for my 13'x16' room. The only disappointment I had was the design of the thing - the head of the fan was merely 'placed' and 'balanced' on the main pole body o the fan's stand, and did not come with a screw or some sort that would secure it. Didn't bother me too badly because I keep in mind to not hold that part when transferring the fan from room to room; it's just that I have to remind my guests that the part of the fan is not fully attached. My mum nearly detached it and dropped the fan when I turn away and she just wanna take it to the living room for awhile. So yea, watch out for it if you do get it. Nonetheless, great quality for a lightweight thing! I'm a really petite girl; so if I think it's light, it'll be featherweight for anyone else.

Jean H. Rating:5.0We wanted a fan for a large living area that does not have a ceiling fan. We were looking for something that would not look out of place. We really like the look of this fan in our home. It is well made and sturdy. It is a very powerful fan. Assembly was a little challenging installing a very small screw and nut in a tight area on the cage. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase.

Marc A. Rating:5.0Between my office, my house in the USA and my house overseas, I have purchased 8 of these fans. This fan is in a class by itself. After leaving my AC on for 2 hours, I just switch to Lasko for the night.

Fiona G. Rating:3.0I just purchased this product, and set it up. It's been below average temperatures in NY this time of year so I haven't fully utilized this fan yet. But I tested out all the features. The set up was super easy- though the instructions could be a little more clear (the screws are in the base already for safe keeping during transit/delivery, but it doesn't tell you that when they say screw the base into the bottom of the unit). I've gone through all the settings, the fan really is quiet in the first four, then you get the regular fan hum get louder and more noticeable on the top settings, but that's perfectly fine with me as long as it keeps me cool. Good for a small spacious room and keeps neatly tucked away in a corner. Edit one year later: So the fan still works- but it's not as powerful as last year. Also the button to up-the fan speed stopped working on the fan itself... Good thing that it has the remote. It's been 80+ degrees in NYC and this doesn't move the air around at all anymore. Lame.
Indoor climate control is important wherever you live, and fans can help you maintain the optimum temperature in your home or office. There are many types of fans available, so be sure to pick the best one for you. To keep your home or office cool and your fan working properly, follow these tips on using and caring for your fans. Tips on Using Fans: Clean it regularly: Continuous operation leads to dirt and grime collecting on the blades. While this means your fan is cleaning the air as well as cooling it, the collected grime is unsightly and can eventually slow the blades. Read More
