  This tile is paper faced. I followed all of the directions exactly. However the paper on the face of the tile is EXTREMELY hard to get off!!!! Some of the leftover tile I put in the sink submerged in water and it was still difficult to get the paper off. So if you don't mind scrubbing each tiny little tile to get the paper off of it to make it shine like glass tile should, then this may work for you. I would not recommend this tile to someone who doesn't have much experience installing backsplashes! I think it must have sat in a warehouse with the paper baking on it for a long time....

  The tile was even nicer in person than in the picture. It was delivered on time and the tiles were very well packed and protected. I haven't gone to the bottom of each case yet but it appears that all the tiles are in tact.

  I find it hard to believe that the picture shown is the actual tile you recieve. I wish they had more examples of the tile. It's a nice glass tile, however, and the actual color is a little darker - still pretty, but not what I wanted for my kitchen. I'm glad I got the sample first.
