This is a solid base that is weighty and doesn't move easily. It's held our umbrella nicely in place during several windstorms (with the umbrella down of course). I've also gotten complements on the Roman numeral design.
We are delighted with our Shademobile Rolling Umbrella Base. With the sand inside, it is sturdy and strong enough to anchor the umbrella without a table in between. Yet with the wheels, it is easy to move. We love it!
The umbrella base is works well but it is fragile. I dropped the base about a foot while unpacking it and it broke in half. I used gorilla glue to repair it.
We now have 2 of these rolling umbrella bases. We put bricks and sand in our bases. They are easy to assemble and the best part is you can easily move them. We use these in Florida and they make the biggest difference in helping provide shade. I would highly recommend these bases.
Nice heavy weight base. The breeze on the outside of the back porch will be no match for this heavy weight holding down my new umbrella.
This is a fantastic umbrella base. I had the hardest time finding one to accommodate my 13' umbrella with a 2" pole. This is very sturdy and so easy to move.
