Nice look for my application.
I purchased this headboard for a beach condo. It is very beachy looking and blended well with the other furniture that I purchased for the rest of the room. This headboard is a very bright, glossy white. The other furniture was more of a off-white matte finish, but I don't think it is noticeable to anyone who doesn't know to look for it. I needed a headboard rather than a bed due to the room space.
I gave the headboard 4 stars rather than 5 because of the overall quality. I wasn't thrilled with the gaps between the bottom and sides of the slat design and the edges. In most cases it was a solid connection, but in about 4-6 places, there was a gap about 1/2" to 1" long that looks like something was missed. I also saw some indentations in the material that were painted over. Again, most people wouldn't notice this, but if you really want a high quality, perfect headboard, you might want to choose a different one.
The assembly was pretty straightforward. They give you a small tool to tighten the hardware, but it will really wear out your fingers before you are done tightening them. I think we also found that two holes didn't line up well. We didn't drill new holes, but there was a discussion about maybe needing to do that. In the end, my husband worked it out.
We did have to purchase bolts to connect the bed frame to the headboard. We tightened them, but the headboard still seemed a little loose and makes a little noise sometimes when we move in bed. This may be a function of a headboard which is pretty heavy, but something you should be aware of.
All in all, the headboard fit our application and looks fresh, clean, and new. I'm satisfied with the purchase.
