We ordered this rug and 2 other sizes, a 5 x 8, and a runner. The 8 x 11 is gorgeous, the background is more of a dark sage green than a dark brown. It's thick, soft, and so far does not seem to be shedding much. The problem we had was when we purchased what we expected would be a matching set of rugs. The 5 x 8 had a dark brown background, more like the photo we saw on our computer screen, and was what we expected all of the rugs to be. The runner color was extremely light in color, a pale sage green. They looked like 3 different rugs! I sent photos of the rugs to Great Offer Stock, and they sent return labels so we will be returning the smaller rugs. Even though the 8 x 11 is more sage than brown it's much prettier than we expected. My husband has said several times "I really love this rug." Just be careful if you're trying to purchase matching rugs. This is a manufacturer's error, however, not overstock's.
