do not buy We purchased this paper cutter for our office use to replace one we have had for over 25 years. This one is so bad that we resorted back to the old one. If the blade would cut more efficiently it would be a great product but it will not even cut a single sheet of paper.

Small Jobs Only If you are cutting only 1 sheet at a time this product would be great, but if you have a bigger job it might not be the item for you. It seemed to cut card stock better than regular paper, but could only handle a work load of 2 sheets at a time for a precise cut. Anything over 3 sheets of regular paper would tear. The locking mechanism is also plastic. It is hard to see that in the picture. I hope this helps.
