    Mine came with a USB charger. The fitbit is easily removed from the band and inserted into the charger. I find that mine re-charges quickly and a charge lasts 5-6 days.

    This one does not. I think you are looking for the fit bit HR. The HR will show you when you get texts or calls. Also has a hear rate monitor, shows steps and time.

    the "battery" is integral with the tracker. the tracker can be removed from the band but the battery does not come away from the tracker. Hope this helps :) from the FitBit website: All Fitbit trackers are water-resistant, which means they are rain-proof and splash-proof and can stand up to even the sweatiest workout. Do not swim with your tracker. We also don't recommend showering with your tracker; though the water won't hurt the device, wearing it 24/7 does not give your skin a chance to breathe. Whenever you get your tracker wet, dry it thoroughly before putting it back on.

    yes. it comes with a short charger cord. just remove the fitbit band, pop the little thing out from the underside of the band, and click it into the charger. The charger cord has a USB thing on the end. you wither provide the part w electrical prongs or do as I do and plug into computer USB port. I recharge mine about every 5-6 days.
