Exactly what I wanted I wanted a woven 100% cotton blanket with a tight enough weave to not snag easily and large enough dimensions to fit my king size bed comfortably, but without a price in the triple digits. This blanket is perfect! The diamond pattern is beautiful, and the color (I have ivory) is very nice. It's large enough - even after washing (cold) and machine drying (low) - to hang a good 8-10 inches over the sides of my bed, reach fully to the top, AND tuck in at the bottom. It's not loosely woven and doesn't seem to snag easily - our three dogs sleep in our bed, and after a few weeks' use the blanket still looks great. Soft and nicely substantial feel. Very pleased!

Grey is dark. This blanket is as promised - nice cotton with a diamond pattern. However, I thought I'd leave feedback on the grey colour. It is a very dark grey, but also a warm grey, almost taupe rather than a silver-toned grey. It doesn't go with the grey and white bedding I'd planned to pair it with, but think I'll use it in my beige bedroom instead as its a good blanket for the price. If you plan on matching grey with black and/or cool silver tones this might not be the right blanket for you.

Looks great We bought these in chocolate to cover cushions on our sofa for our dogs. They are thick and stiff and perfect for the job. The pattern is really beautiful, and they've yet to snag with 3 large dogs. They are thick enough so the dog hair doesn't go through them either. We have a Chocolate Lab and 2 Pibbles.

Good quality, but dimensions are not the best I love the weight, look and feel of the blanket. I'm just frustrated at the dimensions of the king size.....it just doesn't fit the bed properly, but every king sized blanket I buy is that way. They are too long on one side and too short on the other......so, no matter which way I turn it, it just doesn't fit the way I would like. I would like to find a blanket that drops down the sides of the bed about 8 inches or so and have enough at the end of the bed to nicely tuck in under the mattress. This one barely goes over the sides of the bed (so when 2 people get in the bed, at least one of you doesn't have enough) but is very long the other way, so if I rotate it, the sides are too long (hang below the edge of the comforter) and it's too short to tuck in at all at the bottom of the bed. It's frustrating to love the weight, feel and look of the blanket but not have it fit the bed right.

Great blanket; lousy color This blanket is a heavy, good-quality cotton material. I ordered the king size for our queen size bed so there'd be enough material to tuck in between the mattress and boxspring. So I don't know how well it would fit on a king size bed. Be careful when washing and drying the blanket for the first time - the blanket leaves a TON of lint n the lint screen in the dryer. The only complaint I have about this blanket is the color. I ordered aqua, which is supposed to be a blue shade. It shows as blue in the photo. It is NOT blue! It is a seafoam green. Really ugly color and doesn't match our blue bedroom at all. Not worth returning though...didn't want to pay shipping charges just because of the color.

I would definitely go up a size. I have a full size bed that's why I got the queen. I like it hang over some as well. And it did shrink a bit. I wash in cold water and air dry now.

Hi Kathy! I got the king size for my tempurpedic mattress which are very tall and it doesn't hang over that much. Even though I had another kind of mattress I'm not sure it would hang over that much either. It will much depend on what kind of mattress you have so its something important to consider. And I didn't notice if it shrunk when I first washed it. I wash it with on sanitary and/or whites on my washer which uses hot water for those cycles and I dry it in the dryer and it's perfect. It's a great product! My husband loves it! Hope it helps!

I purchased a queen blanket for my queen bed. I have washed it once, put in dryer too. It may have shrunk a liitle bit. If you want it to hang quite a bit over, I suggest to buy a king. It is a very nice light weight blanket. I just bought one for my son.

I have a king size burgundy and there is plenty of overhang on each side. However, it is 100% cotton so allow for shrinkage when washed. Therefore, to be on the safe side, to maintain good overhang I would order a larger size.

The site states the queen size is 88" wide. As with any woven cotton, there is some shrinkage, but mostly in the length, almost none on the width.

No, the queen size blanket is not adequate for a queen bed. Purchase a king size blanket, machine wash it using warm water before the first use (and dry it on low heat) and you will have roughly 12" overhang. All washings afterward should use cold water, and machine drying should be used with low heat.

Yes. A twin bed is a single bed. A twin XL is a little longer than a standard single bed, more the length in a king bed. So two twin XL would be the equivalent of a King bed, I believe.

I only ordered the twin size (not the twin XL). The twin size fits very adequately on the twin bed and does also fit on my queen bed - of course, not draping down the sides as much as on the twin bed. I would point out one thing about king-sized mattresses: they are not longer (than a twin/full/queen) - they are wider, so if you were to buy 2 twin XL blankets the length would go across the bed side to side to accommodate for the added width of a king mattress, rather than from head to foot of bed....I hope this helps in making your decision. It really is a great lightweight 100% cotton blanket.

It's breathable, cool enough for summer, I don't know about the forest green, I got beige. Medium and medium. Snagging could occur I suppose but we haven't had a big issue with that. We use an Amope to smooth out the feet and lotion. Hope this helps.

This blanket is very lightweight, yet has structure to the weave, but it is thin. We use a sheet under the blanket, so no issues with snagging. I am happy with the product. Can't comment on color, I purchased white.

This blanket is fairly thin and lightweight, keeps one warm if the temperature is cold, and cools one down if the temperature is warm. It is very good quality and I have not had any problems with it snagging on rough feet or toenails. I really like this blanket. I did not order the forest green so I couldn't answer that question. It is 100% cotton and is very breathable as well. I would definitely recommend it for your picky, special person!
