Lamps look heavenly; assembly is hell! These lamps are lovely once you wrestle with the worse box I've ever encountered, to even get to walls of styrofoam. Have a trash bag and vacuum handy; you will need it! The hardest part to assemble was the shade. The metal stays are very, very hard to get to go in, and I actually pinched my finger on both shades assembling. Also, I had to use all my strength and pry and push to get them to go in, even thought there is a small notch at the top of each to enable you to know where to place them. If I weren't close to being a seventy year old woman, with respiratory issues, etc., it may not have been as difficult, but it was, and it is and I cannot recommend this lamp because of it being so incredibly difficult to assemble. Pretty once assembled - if you want 100watt :( Above it states: Requires (1) 150 watt 3-way bulb - THESE ARE NOT 150 watt lamps!!! - this is a 3 way lamp for "up to 100 watt bulb" according to the paperwork in the box. And good luck to you on getting INTO the box. You will have to slice tape & box all the way around, and be careful you don't slice into the electrical cords, which are wrapped around the outside of the styrofoam. Once you get the box open, if you are lucky, your lamps will not be broken as one of mine was. THEN, you get to assemble all parts of the lamp, including the lamp shades, which arrive flattened; support ribs do not line up with seams of lampshades, so they look off center. Could've bought better than this at one of the "*" stores. Really expected better of Great Offer Stock, especially on the informational listing on their site. I won't be returning these as there is no possible way to reassemble the box (my town doesn't sell enough tape for that!) or styrofoam, once you have to cut it all apart to get the lamps out; but I certainly won't be buying anything else along these lines from O. Really disappointed in this purchase.

Jill Rutherford Surprised me when it arrived. There was quite a bit of assembly and the final wasn't attached to the nut on one of the lamps and had to glue it but overall the lamp is a pleasing shape and I love the shade color.

Great-looking lamps I only gave this item 3 stars because one was cracked. I just couldn't figure out how to repackage it and send it back so I kept it. But these are very nice looking lamps

Gorgeous Lamps! Bought these to replace a set of which one was broken. Was a little concerned when I saw the box and that they were manufactured in China. Upon opening the box, you are confronted with a Styrofoam and tape mess - but for me at last, everything was in place and in perfect condition. Putting the shade together (which is packed flat) is a little tricky, but look for two little knobs where each bow goes on the bottom hoop of the shade. Once you find those use them to align the bottom of the bow, and everything is great! Excellent quality for the price.
