  • Great painting table

My husband put this table together with a minumum of grumbling while I was at work. I am very impressed with this table. It is very stable and tall enough for me. It is a great choice. I use it flat.

  • Larger than usual work surface, good stable base

I was looking for a budget drafting table, and chose this one because it had a larger work surface than most tables in its price range. Overall I'm quite happy with it. The stand is very stable. I like the fact that it has four legs instead of the usual T-shaped thing, and it has leveling feet so you can keep it from wobbling even on an uneven floor. I also like the fact that it's very adjustable (all the way to flat) and folds for storage. The obvious downside compared to other drafting tables is that it doesn't come with trays or drawers - but you can buy them separately, and my table top came with two holes in the front edge, which I assume is for attaching a tray. Assembly was simple and easy. It actually came with too many screws, but I think that's because the top an stand are often sold separately and each comes with its own set of screws. I read some reviews that said the pre-drilled holes were in the wrong places, but I did not have that problem. Everything lined up fine. The table top finish has some scratches, I think they should package it better. But they're not deep enough to feel under the paper, so it's only a cosmetic flaw. For a budget work table, I don't care that much. FYI, the minimum height for the back edge of the table is about 33", and the front edge goes down to about 28". So, it cannot be flat at less than 33".
