"I bought 2 beds. 1 for each pup. Both beds after opening packaging & following instructions, as to laying both beds on flat surface for 48 hours, before dogs could use bed, to allow memory foam to fully inflate, are significantly lower in the middle on the left side, of each bed. They have both rolled off their beds, during sleep & are afraid of their beds now. I would have written sooner, but I have had a severe brain infection & have been bedridden since December. I finally figured out a couple of days ago, as I walked in as my dog rolled off during sleep. The lady that has been helping me, had slid each bed against the wall on the lower side, but one dogs legs got stuck in between the bed & the wall, so I have since put a standard size pillow under the sinking in on the left side of each bed... Is this supposed to be this way?? Since I followed all directions, I figured that it would eventually straighten out with continued use...., but no such luck. Am I just stuck with a pillow??? Is this something that is common??? I did not see this particular issue in the reviews. Don't get me wrong, I love everything about these beds..., except the left sides of the beds. I was actually thinking of buying 1 or 2 more for my other 2 dogs, if I can figure out this problem... Thank you for your help!!! 😌 "
This bed is very thick and stiff (maybe too stiff). The covering is waterproof although very slick, as a matter of fact my dogs slip off this bed regularly.

Say yes! When this first arrived I was ready to call and ask for a return. The bottom of the cover looks very cheaply made, it is a sheer kind of mesh. The top is a strong sort of nylon. For some reason though it is the first bed, out of five, including an Orvis Tough Chew that my puppy destroyed in five minutes, that she has not completely wrecked. She loves it and it is completely fine almost a month later.

We Woof 💚 our new beds! A few months ago we brought home another rescue dog. (Layla) She was 4 months old & the dog we had already (Shelby) was almost 2. Shelby had a nice soft, squishy bed in the living room, until Layla completely took it over (along w/our whole house) & chewed most of the stuffing out & totally destroyed it! When I saw these beds...that Layla could no longer use as a chew toy, I ordered 2 immediately. At first neither of them would go NEAR the beds. They were a bit slippery, due to it's chew proof & wipe clean material & the sound the material made when they walked on the beds, scared them. (Note: Shelby & Layla are afraid of EVERYthing!) One of the beds is a little uneven- it is noticeably higher on one side & they usually slide off, but it's not a big deal. They never did get used to the feeling of the material, (I guess they missed the soft cover they had before), so I covered each one with a twin fitted sheet. Many lazy naps have already gladly been taken :)

Mediocre I wish that the bottom of this dog bed was the same material as the top. The top was excellent and sturdy, but the bottom is the flimsy black meshing that my dogs love to destroy on dog beds. Thickness and comfort was fantastic. Chew resistant - not so much due to the bottom material.

The bed I bought is a big, heavy, cumbersome pillow. Neither the Rottie or Doberman will go near it. The only dog who will use it is a small beagle who just lays on the top like a cherry on a cupcake. The bed is current resting in the shed as it was useless in my home. That was my experience which may not be normal, but it's all the information I have to share.

I have noticed the same problem. Our 65# boxer likes it. She basically uses the low side as the bed and the high side as a pillow. Which is how she sleeps on our bed :-) I won't buy another one, but I'm not unhappy with the one we have. Hope that helps.
