Beautiful rug Colors are richer and more vibrant than on the screen, which was a very pleasant surprise! Beautiful texture, soft, plush, dense, pile, I am very pleased with the rug. The only problem I found is it seems to be slightly tighter at the edge on one side, and as a result slight gathering occurs. I had to place a piece of furniture in the corner of the rug to keep it flat. I have only had it for a few days, so I hope this will get resolved in time - it does take a while for this rug to fully flatten after unpacking.

Not worth it This rug looks very nice, but sheds like nothing I've ever seen. Blue fuzz all over my child's room, in the hallway and down the stairs. I keep thinking it will stop, but it's been 5 months and gets vacuumed at least once a week. My child's pants are covered in blue carpet fibers everytime he plays on the rug. I wouldn't buy this again.

It is to be expected that all wool rugs will shed to some degree -- the difference in the pile and the knotting is also a factor. Having said that, I was so pleased with the first rug that I purchased, that I bought a second for our vacation cottage. I have not had exception shedding with either one. For the price, it's a beautiful rug.

Shedding typically decreases with time. Contrary to popular belief, customers will vacuum too frequently to get rid of it faster but it usually causes loose weaves and increased shedding.

It's more of a pile I think. I bought this for my teenage sons room because our house is all hardwood....it seems like big time! My Irobot fills just in his room alone but it also eats loop rugs. It is a major she'd machine. I'very had it for I months and it still sheds. Blue like hairs all over the hardwood. It's pretty.
