I bought 2 of these, one for each side of a fireplace. They are absolutely gorgeous! Very unique, very heavy and definitely make a statement in any room. I am a designer and bought these for my own home, love them!

Story Behind the Art:
This product was created in northwestern India. Once the British removed their armed forces from the region in the late 40s, a majority of the industries available for the local economy disappeared with them. The indigenous people went back to the traditional crafts and furniture manufacturing that they had known for generations. This industry has truly created a renaissance in economic growth in the region.
