This is not a real leather, but the quality is much better than my old chair. The leather looks genuine and real. At least, I don't see a thick white layer on top of the chair, made the chair feeling "old school". This chair perfectly fits with my new home with modern design. LOVE ... love the chairs, made my new home more fashion looking.
