Very well made, easy to assemble.

The instructions for this particular filing cabinet are just drawings, and not too precise of drawings at that, but, if you take your time, you can figure then out. I had a couple instances of trial-and-error, but the project was entirely completed to my satisfaction. It is a lovely, sturdy cabinet, except for the plastic and wood rails that hold the hanging files. These would have been better served made out of metal. Other than that, a very good cabinet. I do recommend it, but only gave it four stars because of the minor difficulty I had with the instructions and the questionable quality of the material for the hanging files.

Didn't like having to put it together and not very sturdy.

The storage/filing cabinet looks really nice, but it tilts onto the front floor pegs when I fill either drawer with files. I had to put a weight on top of it to make sure it didn't fall over when I opened one of the drawers. It also comes with long black plastic pieces, and two wooden pieces with a square carved in to each end. The directions were a little vague, but they clearly showed that the wooden pieces were intended for the cut out notch to fit into a slot. The notches are too thin to fit anywhere that the directions (and many guesses) tell you to.

Parts missing, and there were extra parts that made the instructions confusing. I called and the missing parts were sent to me immediately.

Cabinet is well constructed with a beautiful finish that looks more Cherry than Expresso. I ordered this as a furniture quality cabinet to set our wireless printer on. I was not disappointed as it works great and is a perfect fit. The top drawer is used for ink cartridges and paper and the bottom drawer for files. Assembly did take 45 minutes to an hour. I definitely recommend this cabinet.

Seems to be fine,, outside of cabinet is nice,, inside is a little cheaply made. I think it is a little over priced for what you get.. it was easy to put together, if you have patience.

The file cabinet met my expectations. It looks nice and was not overly difficult to assemble. One of the attachment fittings required for the drawers was defective (no threads on it) so I had to make a substitute for it. Otherwise, everything went fairly well. Without any directions to clarify the drawings, I had to redo several steps when I guessed wrong about the way things went. Still, a good purchase for the price.

The product is fine for a cheaply made option. It would have been awesome if they would have included some instructions that actually MADE SENSE!!! I had to get someone to help me with this and it was still frustrating for them as well. I read the review that it was "easy to put together" and am curious if that person was a carpenter? The directions are just vague pictures of parts. Otherwise, product seems solid enough. Not thrilled!

Went together easily. It's not til it is completely together with all everything tightened does it cease to be a bit wobbly - but it's a nice sturdy piece for the price.

Exceptional value for money. Easy to assemble if you done this before. Otherwise instructions are a bit lame.

Very sturdy and attractive. Not espresso...a nice dark cherry. File holders are flimsy plastic and worthless. Does tip if just top drawer is open.

I purchased this to use as a small filing cabinet. Disclaimer: I HATE those filler pieces that you put in the holes to anchor screws. They are never secure no matter what and they breed a shakiness in the furniture designed to depend on them. That being said- this piece is FULL of them! The directions lack ANY words and there are some important tips early on that you need to know or you'll get caught starting again. Like which direction the slight body creases and details as such go. This isn't evident early on and I didn't notice until the last back piece. Only hand drawn pictures direct you. And going back I remeber those stupid anchor pieces I mentioned before for the screws? Yep they were falling out all over the place as I tried to disassemble some pieces to begin again. The holes were drilled too big for some and perfect for others- and they were the same exact size; well at least they were supposed to be. I finally got this thing together after an hour and a half! It does have a striking look to it and an amazing finish. But it's not as sturdy as I would like. And here's the biggest disappointment: the small plastic pieces that go over the drawers to enable it to be used as a filing cabinet just set on top of the drawer! They aren't secured in anyway unless you glue them I suppose. But even then, don't bother because standard hanging files are too narrow to work with these dimensions! It's too wide so the hanging file doesn't make it to the other side by just a few millimeters! The best thing you can do if you buy it for a filing cabinet is to also purchase a hanging file skeleton that sets in the drawer! It's a beautiful piece of furniture that serves no purpose except to set things on. An awful waste of time and money! If you need a filing cabinet you don't need this.

We are very pleased with our purchase. It is an attractive cabinet. If filing large volumes of heavy files you may need to purchase a heavy duty metal filing system to exchange for the wooden one that comes with the cabinet. We are downsizing and saving less do it works perfectly for us. Would buy again

A lot of trouble to assemble unless you have a power drill and screw driver. Easily scratched veneer. This is one import that is worth less than it looks.Disappointing.

Overall its a nice filing cabinet. There were difficulties with assembly. The directions need to be improved as well as parts labeled. My husband has assembled many things and good thing he has a natural sense to putting it together. He had to keep shoving the file doors in a bit at a time before they would close all the way the first time. The black plastic pieces didn't fit and they won't be used.
