"Are the lights pre-strung or do I need to assemble them?"
The lights on this umbrella are great. I have an outlet by my table so it is ideal for this umbrella. I prefer these lights to the solar lights in most umbrellas.

Nice Patio Addition Nice sturdy metal stem umbrella. Extra Tall height. Lights are perfect lighting for evening dining; all kinds of compliments on this feature. Description doesn't mention the thermometer that is included in the stem... nice little perk. Bright primary blue color; no problem with fading after 4 months of sun, sun, and more sun.

WORTH THE MONEY! I am very happy with my purchaseof this umbrella.The design is really nice.I drilled a hole in my deck to run the wire for the lights under it so you can't trip on it,and the lights are just bright enough so you can see what's on the table but not that bright as to attract the bugsThe lights also have three different settings.And the aluminum construction is very well designed.The little thermometer I think is a cool little feature.I highly reccomand this Umbrella to anyone that enjoys hanging outside at night or even during the day.The color of the umbrella doesn't let the sun come though at all.I noticed a 10 to 15% cooler under the umbrella with that cool little thremometer on the post.

I love this Umbrella I had one in green previous. It lasted over 6 years however the material started to rot out. So now I have one in blue. I originally called tropiShade to see about a replacement canope and they were very helpful. But then my dog decided to use the cord as a chew toy so I figured I would just buy a new one. Great umbrella and great customer service. I will enjoy this for years to come I am sure!

lighted market umbrella. I love my new lighted market umbrella. It was easy to put together and the lights are very pretty when lit in the evening. The fabric is sturdy enough and will probably last several summers. the light blue color is lovely and goes very well with my darker blue seat cushions my seat cushions. The up and down mechanism is easy to work and I know we will have a lot of good times in its shade.

"How long is the power cord for the lights and is there a power brick? If so, is it water resistant since it would be outside exposed to the elements. The cord is about 17 feet long. It has a transformer about a foot from the AC plug. I would say it is water resistant. The on/off switch is on the pole. The lights are for ambiance not for reading.

I have had this umbrella up for over a year now. Through Summer, Winter, wind, hail and everthing else. The lights are pretty protected under the umbrella itself and are tucked in to the support arms nicely. Have had no issues with the lights what so ever.
