I hung mine by putting two nails between the wires on each side, and it it against wall to make sure even. I marked the nails and hammered them in their spots. Then put the piece on to it. It's very secure and works well.

it's very easy; just use a couple of screws and plastic anchors and screw them closely to the center of the plaque. One just below the center; the other just below the enter.

I had the same problem because there were no instructions. If you look inside of the round balls one of them has a build in hook. Hopefully this will help.
