My 14 yr old daughter was looking to update her "princess" bedroom to a cooler teen hangout. She originally wanted a white shag rug, much to her mother's dismay given how many nail, makeup and artistic endeavors happen on the floor of her bedroom. We looked and looked for rugs -- but when I saw this on Great Offer Stock, I knew we had a winner. The price was right and the description sounded good. The only concern I had was a previous review about the thickness (plushness) of the carpet, so I purchased the Mohawk Supreme Felted Dual Surface Rug Pad. The rug has worked out beautifully! My daughter loves how soft it is. She said it was like petting a bunny. When she runs into her room, she loves how she can slide across the soft surface. The rug - with the pad - feels comfortable to walk on. No issue with shedding. We could not be happier with this purchase.

This rug was delivered quickly. It came rolled up in plastic. The rug is silky and soft. It is not a plush cushioned rug. The color is creamy and changes texture when brushed. I recommend buying.

Unclear how this will hold up with time or do with cleaning, but in the meanwhile I simply do not care. It looks and feels amazing and makes the living room so cozy. Highly recommend.

It's huge, soft, beautiful and now the most favorite piece in our home. My 6 year old son does snow angels on it because he says its like snow in California and my husband forgot what the sofa was, since he now lies open this rug to relax.

I bought this rug for Caitlin, my 8 year old granddaughter, as a birthday gift. Caitie's mother had been redecorating her room in a Paris-themed style and Cait was very involved in creating some shabby-chic accessories. Caitlin and I were cleaning her room when the rug arrived. She could hardly contain her excitement! We brought it upstairs, cut off the wrapping and unrolled it. All three generations of women in our family agreed; the rug is absolutely gorgeous and has a silky feel! Caitlin lay down on it and made silk angels on it.That night, Caitlin pulled her pillow and comforter off her bed slept on her new rug. Each one of her four brothers came upstairs to 'try out' the new rug and everyone feels the same way, this rug is terrific! When I bought the rug I showed it to my daughter, Sherry, to get her opinion on it. Sherry was concerned that it might be too sophisticated for the turning-eight birthday girl. I assured my Sherry that, if Caitlin didn't like the rug, Sherry could use it elsewhere in the house. "Also", I said, "If you don't want it, I'll take it!" Do I need to tell you that I have absolutely Zero chance of ever getting my hands on it? Last night, my rough-and-tumble 10 year old grandson asked me if he could have one of those rugs in another color! Thank you for a beautiful, well-made product which I highly recommend. Much less expensive option for people interested in the designer Power Shag from the expensive design house. I initially purchased that in a smaller size but was not willing to pay the cost of the 8x10, Bought this instead, almost identical! 4 stars because it does shed just a bit around the edges, but not significant and suspect that will stop after it's been vacuumed a couple of times. Save your money and buy this over the more expensive label!

Not thick but silky soft and very pretty; just what I had hoped for. Loved it so much I bought another just like it.
