Safavieh Casual Natural Fiber Natural Maize/ Ivory Linen Sisal Area Rug (8' x 10')

I've had this rug for 3 weeks in my livingroom. I'm very happy with this purchase. It does come in with an order. I used Arm and Hamer carpet odor remover on the rug for 3 days, then vacuumed The order is gone. I plan on buying another for my bedroom.

Purchased this rug with the same rug in 4x6 for our living room. We had previously (2 yrs ago) purchased a Safavieh chunky jute rug in the same size. That rug held up really well, despite a constant beating from three kids. Already this rug is holding up even better. For a high traffic area, this type lays flatter so there are less snags and pulls, and is still very durable. It is comfortable to walk on in bare feet, probably a little smoother than the chunky jute. With toys and running and playing on it the rug still looks like I just unrolled it after a few weeks. The tables and chair barely make any dents in it. The sofa being heavier leaves the usual "dents" but they are really not that deep and go away after a few days for the most part. I wouldnt slide any heavy furniture on it, but tables and light chairs are able to slide without leaving any marks, pulls or snags. Backing is not rubberized, but has small rubber dots on it to help with sliding. I always use the felted rug pads underneath. They are a great deal from Great Offer Stock and do not discolor my wood floors. I use the thinner one for this rug, but i have a slightly thicker pad under the other one to make it a little softer since its not constantly walked over. Can't go wrong with Safavieh or Overstock!
