    The plastic protectors on the corners don't seem to really be needed but I left them on for protection of the area rug as they are not very noticeable. They are easily removed. Love this table!

    Little plastic footie things came in a small bag. I pushed them on. They seem to stay quite well; i.e., they're still on and I've slid the coffee table around trying to get it into my wife's vision of the perfect place. Also, the little plastic footie things are virtually invisible when the table is on carpet.
