Certainly not Silver We ordered this fixture for my son's room and although I LOVE the fixture, the color is absolutely gold/brass and instead of looking rustic and charming the color makes it look a little 70's kitchen? Its is hard to explain until you have it in front of you. Anyhow, it seems just too much color was sprayed over the silver. I took acetone and rubbed it and the gold came right off and left a beautifully distressed silver fixture. It took only moments and minimal effort to get it to a beautiful silver color. (Then of course we wiped it back down with a damp cloth before running electricity through it!)

Fun, Unique Light (But Not So Silver) If you're set on silver, make sure you look at other products with a silver leaf finish before you order this, because apparently "silver leaf" is more of a light gold color, and this fixture is definitely goldish, which I wasn't quite expecting. It's still a great fixture though- the finish is classy, the style is unique, and I can see it working in multiple rustic/industrial design settings.
