Great for my daughter Bought this for a loft bed we built for my six year old. She was not comfortable on a box spring mattress. It had the typical smell for a few days but we both think it's comfy and I crawl in her bed with her sometimes and cuddle. I am not thin by any means and it doesn't sink down when I am in it too.

Rhonda I was very surprised at how comfortable this mattress is, I had rewards so the mattress only cost me $52.00. I bought it for a trundle under a bunk bed and it fits perfectly! I wish I had bought 2 more for the other two beds but I thought I needed regular mattresses instead of a foam mattress, my mistake. I would recommend this mattress to anyone.

Nuform TriZone Quilted 7 inch Twin Foam Mattress this is a great mattress for the price. I opened the plastic and it popped out slowly filling itself up. It was fully inflated within 24 hours or so and I put it on my daybed. It is very comfortable and semi-firm. I haven't had any back pain and I have slept on it for the past 2 weeks.

No, you do not have to use a box spring. In fact, this is why these thick foam mattresses (greater than 6") are perfect to refresh your master bed. Or to not break the bank for children's rooms or guest bedrooms. I purchased this mattress for my 36 year old son who resides permanently in Japan. This size was impossible to get there and the price on the O was amazing. He is very happy as a 6' tall man sleeping with this foam mattress on top of a platform bed.
