This is a decent quality pine nightstand. You have to assemble it yourself but it's easy.
Top, sides and drawer front are 1/2 pine, nicely finished. Drawer sides and bottoms are lower quality material, and a bit crudely finished. Suitable for this price point.
The back is thin plywood, not cardboard. Aim your nails carefully when attaching the backs.
Drawer hardware is fine. Knobs are throwaways, I ordered nice metal ones with a brushed gold finish from Another vendor online.
The cabinet and drawers are assembled with dowels at the corners and screws to hold them together. None of those camlock things. I put a dab of wood glue in all of the dowel holes to make everything more rigid. Drawer bottoms slide into slots in the panels, I glued those too. The finished piece is very solid.
I bought a pair of these with the mahogany finish. They look very nice. All in all, a good value and I'm very satisfied.
