Love this rug pad ! This pad gives my rug extra cushion and it was worth every cent. Only down fall is that this rug pad is shorter than the measurement that is stated (6x9") on the description. It doesn't both me too much and I would purchase this again.

purchased with white shag rug What can you say about a rug pad? It does it's job. We tried the rug without the pad but I did notice that it adds extra loft to the rug. My rug does not move on the hardwood floor with this pad in place. It was a great price. I am happy with the purchase.

Does the job well I have bought two of these pads, one under a a hand knotted rug over tile floor and the other under a similar rug over wall to wall carpet. In both applications the pad does the job well. The pads prevent the rugs from moving and protect the rugs from damage form chair legs etc. I would purchase the same pad again.

Very good value I now own this rug pad in four sizes. I have it under both thick pile and flat weave rugs and in both cases it gives a good amount of cushion - not overly plush, but very comfortable. The price is impossible to beat. Strong recommend.

Sorry, I don't know for sure, but imagine it would work. I have mine on hardwood floors and it works very well. One side is felt fabric, the other side a non-skid vinyl type material. I doesn't shed fibers. I'm very happy with this pad and would purchase again.

I am using this pad on tile and it's fantastic. However, I'd pick something thinner, like a mesh type "pad" for over wall to wall carpet. This pad is very thick and I'd be concerned your area rug could pose a trip hazard with this pad over carpet. Just my thoughts.

I have not tried it carpet to rug, but there is a rubbery underside on this pad. The felted top is rough to the touch and seems to be acting almost like Velcro would. The rug does not move on the hardwood floor unless there is real effort. It is 6' 1" X 9' and may need to be trimmed. I hope this helps and I am sure others would like to know if this rug pad works well carpet to rug.

Thank you for your inquiry. First thing you should do is convert your measurements to feet since the pads are measured that way. Keep in mind you don't need the pad to run the same length as the rug. The pad can be smaller than the rug cause it is used to stop the rug from moving but if want it to be flush throughout the rug get as close as you can to the rug you have just depends on your preference.

You need to buy a pad at least the size of your rug. You then need to cut it down so that the rug is larger than the pad. You want about 1.5" difference so that the rug overhangs the pad.
