You will need to either "plop" on the chair or "drop" the chair from 4-6" to align all of the feet. Tighten the bolts and tear again and final tighten. Very happy with this purchase. Cute Barstools, Awful Assembly I purchased 8 (4 sets of 2) of these barstools. The stools look cute in the area they're intended for. They are definitely not the best quality, but for the price, I am not ok with the quality. I would not recommend them for daily use as they do not feel like they would withstand daily use terribly long. They're incredibly light, so they do slide very easily on my wood floors. The instructions that come with the stools are missing several key steps (like attaching the front legs to the frame). It is not difficult to infer what you're supposed to do, but don't be alarmed when the directions say you're through and you've got a substantial amount of hardware left over. I have currently put together 6 of the 8 barstools, and I'm trying to decide if it is worth it to put together the final two. Other reviews say it takes around 30 minutes per stool for assembly. I assumed since I would be assembling so many, I could probably get it done quicker after some practice. While I did get a little faster, it still averaged out to about 30 minutes per stool. When you're putting together two or four, this isn't a big deal. When you have eight to assemble, that's a big time commitment.

Worth giving it a try... Nice chairs for the bucks! However, I'm concerned there's no known weight capacity limit. After purchasing a similar constucted chair by a different manufacturer, who used additional brackets with the screws that secure the pieces, i decided that i would go to the hardware store to get similar brackets to better secure these chairs. Purchase scotchguard from the store and apply it yourself to protect the fabric cushions.

A great buy For two chairs under $200 dollars I had a steal. The fabric and finish is really good. The wood is dark and more painted than wood effect and is neither expensive nor cheap looking just what I expected but I don't tend to sit on the floor and look at them so its not the part that bothered me unlike some other buyers. The kids have got chocolate and syrup on them and with fabric cleaner its dabbed off easily. I would buy again.
