This is a good chaise, and once it's assembled and set up, I love it. It is on the firmer side, so you don't sink into it, which is great for me, and it looks very nice.
However, the pre-drilled holes for the screws to actually put the chaise together were apparently drilled by blind workers -- they were so misaligned, the chaise could not be put together without fear of snapping the wood or making a new set of holes for assembly. I'd say that is a major hassle. Shoddy workmanship on that part, if I ever saw any! The only reason we didn't send it back is because we had zero confindence that the replacement would be any better, and just got out a drill and drilled new holes to be able to put it together.
Do I like it now? Yes.
Was I really ticked off at the amount of work this "some assembly required" product required us to do to get it to be a chiase? Yes.
