We bought this chandelier to replace a builder-grade shiny bronze one in our new home. Installation was done by my husband who didn't have any major issues with it. It includes 4 rods, allowing you multiple length options. My only (minor) issue was that the product description described the shades as "rain glass" shades, while I would argue that the glass design was a subtle ribbed pattern, not a true rain glass pattern, which is what I really wanted. It's ok though, and the glass throws a pretty pattern on the ceiling. The sconces screw in, so they are a pain to easily remove and wash (hence they get dusty easily and will stay like that until I go to the trouble to remove them). Overall we are happy with this chandelier that has a classic look with a slightly contemporary vibe to it.
