Pleasantly surprised as I unpacked it! It's gorgeous! The shade is more of a soft white - I would not call it beige/ivory, by any means. It is not gray/silver, either. I will be installing this over a 42" round glass table with chrome base.
Side note: If you have high ceilings, the wire and chain are on the shorter side.
