Good, but a couple things to note

Rating:

This remote is designed to let you control your ceiling fan and lights from the wall, as you would any light. I did not realize when I purchased it that the wall control is actually battery operated--it is not hardwired to your light--which threw me a bit (you either need to have your electrician deal with the switch lighting you have, or you could just install a blank box and put this in it). To make it work correctly, you must install a receiver into the ceiling fan itself (instructions aren't all that clear, but if you hit YouTube you'll see exactly how it's done). I'm a little concerned about the longevity of the labels on the control--they look like they could wear off, but time will tell. If you have a high ceiling or simply don't want to mess with pull chains, you'll like this remote.

Wider than thought, but perfect in stairwell

When I receive the lamp I was surprised at how wide it was compare to what I thought it looked like online. That could have just totally been my perception. However I ended up really liking it and it looks great in our stairwell which is where we had originally planned to put it. I am glad it was wider because it holds up in the stairwell really well and doesn't look too small in such a big space. I love the color of the glass and the bronze finish. It does not look like a cheap fixture. I also really like this because it had coordinating ceiling lights which we also purchased. Also it is very bright which was a nice surprise seeing that it only has one bulb. But it can handle a high wattage bulb which really lights up our stairwell. I recommend this lighting family for anyone looking for bronze finished lights!

Quality and Attractive

Rating:

After a couple false starts with other inexpensive ceiling fans that looked their price, this fan is terrific and is a good value for the $. It has a fun leaf design for the blades and comes with a two-light kit. I'd buy it again.

Best Fan Ever!

I had my doubts about spending so much on a ceiling fan, when I could pick up one at the local hardware store for much less. But I was doing some upgraded LED lighting in the living room and this fan looked like it would add to the living room perfectly. I was extremely happy I had purchased this fan after I installed it and saw for myself how great it looked and how quiet it actually was. I have never had a fan so quiet. The 6 speed motor is very nice and the LED light matches my new recessed LED lighting perfectly (2700k). It's the 1st fan I've ever owned where there is a fan reverse button on the remote. It has worked our great in the winter to spread the heat from the fireplace. The finish is excellent and I can see this fan lasting a very long time. I do wish there was an in-wall remote option. I contacted Casablanca about the in-wall remote and this fan motor is fairly new, so they haven't created an in-wall remote for it yet. When it's all said and done, this fan is well worth the money. You definitely get what you pay for.

This Hunter Windmere 54-inch Ceiling Fan was an excellent choice for our living room, and our guest bedroom, it looks rich, the color is perfect for our decor, we love the remote control, fan speed and the lighting is the best, and it's worth the price, I recommend it and very satisfied.

The fan is beautiful! I hired a technician to hang the ceiling fan. There were no screws in the box to attach to the ceiling.

Nice Fan

This fan has a nice bronze base. The blades look like a brown cherry and went perfectly with my cabinets. The fan is very quiet when running. I recommend!
