Received late in summer season 2016 for use on screened porch. (Overhead fan was inadequate.) When this fan is directed at my seating area, it is great. Like that it rotates directions, but noisy fan. Drowns out conversations.

Any outdoor space will benefit from this fan!

I ordered this floor fan online, Easter Sunday, and it was delivered to my door on Tuesday… incredibly fast delivery. The fan is very attractive looking in a patio with the light feature being a great touch. The remote makes controlling the fan and light easy. The fan puts out good air flow. The reason I gave four stars rather than three is because it is quite noisy.

Creates a nice breeze that helps keep bugs away.

We bought this fan last year for use under a steel roofed gazebo. It is perfect, even at low speed, keeping the heat from building up and even better at night keeping the mosquitos off our legs! The louver and oscillator push the airflow to ground level, which keeps our dog cool as well. It's kept under the edge of the gazebo, and the little rain water that does fall on it has not caused any problems. We get a lot of pollen in the spring, so I will have to open up the rear to clean inside after this season. We keep it in the sunroom during the winter, and storing it at -40C/F hasn't caused any problems. Overall, it's a GREAT product and many guests wished they had it for their backyard.

Loving it! I had been searching for an outdoor fan for sometime now and was about to settle on one that looked like the usual fan until I found the Lasko. It is stylish, well made, and doesn't immediately strike you as a fan. It works well with the decor on my deck. The fan is powerful, and I find myself putting it on low instead of high, which is great b/c there is more fan power if needed. I live in the south, where it's hot and humid in the summer, so this has made sitting out on the deck enjoyable. It has three speeds, oscillates from side to side, and you can also adjust the vent direction up and down. Delivery was incredibly fast! Packed well with no problems!

I recently purchased two of these fans for my outdoor living area. Ceiling fans were not cutting it! These fans move a great deal of air and make the area very comfortable as well as discourage mosquitos!

Great fan! We have a small atrium in the middle of our house and it can oscillate and cool the seating area. Most of the time we use the low setting but as the weather gets hotter will need to kick it up. The only reason I didn't rate it excellent is because it's noisy which may be because of the four outside walls of the atrium (but open to the sky above). Overall I'm really happy with this fan and would definitely suggest it to others.
