NOTICEABLY Crooked Slots were not cut correctly so one of the squares is noticeably off to an angle. Can't use this item and unfortunately I tossed the box before I checked along with several others since I live in a skyrise so I can't return it without a big hassle. It's a great concept and I have two other shelves from the same company that are fine because you screw them together with straight edges but this one is interlocking squares and the slots are just off and all three boxes are different depths as well. If you order this I just recommend keeping the box until you put it together and make sure it's straight.

It will serve it's purpose I, for one, am so sick of the stuff that China shoves off on us. This is a nice shelf, but as usual, the quality of the workmanship is sorely lacking. I will use it, since it is going on my bedroom wall, but I'm not thrilled with all the runs, drips & errors on the shelf overall. It's always a hit & miss as to whether you will receive a product that the person who assembled it in China, actually attempted to make it look nice. I think we have ALL learned that by now!

Not the Right Fit Purchased this shelving set for a narrow wall space. The workmanship was less than expected: slants in the smaller squares made the whole unit appear lopsided. Could not adjust. In addition, the white option did not create the look I wanted.

So Blessed I purchased this wall shelf in white, along with the other (Set of Two) Shelves. They are nice and work well together in the same room on different walls.(for me).. Again however too pricey for a Laminate!!!

Not sure of weight capacity since there are different levels and is not that deep. I have a small vase with water on it, a 3x5 wood frame and some small nickknacks.

The shelf itself is pretty sturdy, I have a medium size glass vase on mine in addition to other things. It will mostly depend on how it is mounted, if you use anchors and attach it into a beam it will hold quite a bit.

If you use strong screws in wall the screw heads will hold It I think it could hold 5 lbs. I wish they had a left one and right one

The espresso color option is very dark brown. From a distance it appears black, however up close one can see that it is not. I used it in a room with black bookshelves and other accents and it was satisfactory to me.
