Not Black The website says it's Antique Black. When it arrived, the paper work calls it Antique Black in one spot and Antique Bronze in another. It is Antique Bronze. I need black iron to go with other items in the room, not bronze. I will be sending it back and looking elsewhere for a true black iron chandelier. Can't speak to quality as I only took it partially out of the box due to the wrong color.

Installation and Low Ceiling Tips!! These lights are absolutely beautiful and look much more expensive than they were. I ordered two for our kitchen which is an 8.5' ceiling. Since we mounted these on a standard ceiling height where people will be walking underneath, we shortened the chain. LOW CEILING MOUNTING TIPS/SHORTENING THE CHAIN; There is a carabiner at the end of the chain that attaches to the fixture itself. We used pliers to remove the rest of the chain except for the one link at the canopy. We then connected the carabiner to the one link near the canopy. INSTALLATION and WIRING TIPS: The lights come with instructions that simply say to "make the appropriate wire connections". We are new homeowners and have replaced a few light fixtures, but this fixture had different wires than others we have seen. Coming out of the fixture is one bare silver wire, and one black coated wire. The bare silver is your ground. This should be connected to the copper wire coming out of your ceiling. If you don't have a copper wire coming out of your ceiling, then connect the bare silver wire from the fixture to the green screw in the mounting bracket (just wrap it around). The black coated wire from the fixture splits at the end. The side with white lettering on the casing is your white (neutral) wire. This connects to the white wire coming out of your ceiling. The other side is your black (hot) wire. This connects to the black wire coming out of your ceiling. Installation took us a while since we had never seen wires like this before. Hopefully this will help some of you and save you some time! Overall, the lights seem to be high quality and look expensive. We love them!

Gorgeous, stylish pendants These are the absolute nicest pendants I could find in my search. The size is substantial. Over our 6 ft+ island, 2 pendants look great. I think 3 would have been a bit much. I get so many compliments on them! We paired these with the Vineyard 6-light metal and wood chandelier and it pairs perfectly.

Shattered Glass I ordered two of these and loved them. They look perfect and well-made. Unfortunately, I woke up early one morning to the sound of glass shattering. One of the glass hurricanes had actually fallen and shattered all over my dining table and floor. Upon inspection, I could see where it had basically been cut where the metal and glass touched. There was a glass ring left still screwed into the fixture. Great Offer Stock was great and handled it appropriately. They would probably look fine without the glass insert, but that was not the look I wanted. Thankfully, no one was sitting at the table when it happened.

I had wished it were aged bronze but it looks like just black to me. Just a hint-I didn't just the glass. You can you don't have to. I just didn't want to have to clean them. I think it would be hard and I look the look better without. My daughter just had a new house built and she ordered a like one for her foyer but it was larger and much more expensive and it didn't have glass. I went to Amazon and bought flame tip led bulbs that are dimmable. For the price, you can't go wrong.

We almost had to do the same, but then found we could use the cord and chain supplied with the pendants. But yes, it should be fairly trivial for a competent electrician or DIYer to change out the cord and chain. BTW, if you were to look into buying more of the stock chain you will find it has to come from China. The price of the chain is reasonable, but the cost of shipping is prohibitive.

The cords are loose, not rigid. Even though I'm the persnickety one, I thought the pendants looked good even if they weren't all similarly oriented. But it bothered my husband, so he slightly "overturned" the ones he wanted to reorient so they would settle back to hanging in line with the others. After a little bit of trial, they are just right.

"Is there a way to order a replacement for the glass cylinder. In moving the fixture to a different location, unfortunately the glass shattered. Given the low cost of the fixture it may be easier to leave with out the glass or just order an entire new fixture."

I had an issue with the glass cylinder being scratched, so I contacted Great Offer Stock about getting a replacement piece. They were right on it and as it turned out, the company couldn't send just the cylinder, so they sent a completely new fixture, at no cost to me. In addition, I didn't need to mess around with sending the other fixture back. Awesome customer service!!

I needed more chain for mine, and the only alternative to get the exact same was to get it from the manufacturer in China. The shipping cost was astronomical. I assume (but don't know for sure) that you would be faced with the same dilemma. In your case, it still might cost less than buying a new fixture.
