NoiseDefend soundproofing technology eliminates noise and vibration when the sink is in use, for a quieter kitchen. Each stainless steel sink comes with free kitchen accessories, including a fitted stainless steel dish grid with non-scratch rubber bumpers. All Pax stainless steel sinks are amply padded on every side with our proprietary NoiseDefend sound dampening system. Don't waste your money on this 18 gauge sink! I have 2 sinks in my kitchen a 16 gauge since and this 18 gauge sink. This one stains easily, doesn't maintain it's shine and has a cardboard like sound when water hits it as opposed to stainless steel. I wish I had done my homework on the difference between 18 and 16 gauge. Spend the extra money.
