very nice looking bad, but the frame is flicky , if you looking for something monumental ,don't buy it. Update. , 3 month later. Frame is a disaster. the sleds are all breaking, twisting ( like one part is sit down and right and the other half of the same sled is twisted sidewise..) so it took nearly 3 month for us to start noticing that something is up.. and we are tall but pretty light ( 300b together). we do have the springbok over those sleds, but its a different story. Overall, love the design, love the headboard.. thinking how can change the whole bottom part now..
Read MoreI am normally a Pottery Barn/Crate & Barrel kind of person when it comes to big furniture pieces that will get used for comfort. However the similar to this bed at those stores was just incredibky expensive and I was never able to bite the bullet and pay full price. I got this for under $* with a coupon code. It looks nice. The material is good quality and has some heathering look to it, which is a pro for me considering my dogs shed and like to curl up on each side of the bed. It is good height and not squeaky. That being said there are a few cons; Two hours to put together, headboard feels a bit flimsy as it moves several inches back and forth with ease, the back is not fully finished, just material velcroed to the back so this has to be pushed against a wall. Also the sides aren't perfect as he material gathers in some points- but not noticeable especially since it's backed up against the wall. Last con is the box springs show about 2 inches worth so I will have to get them covered with their own sheets to make it look nicer. If you're not willing to spend $1900 on a very nice, hand maid tufted bed then I would recommend this for the price. Not sure how longevity will go but the aesthetics are nice.
