Great quality. We own two of these beds. We bought one (twin) for each of our young children (ages 2 and 4). One we've had for 18 months, one for six months. The beds were relatively easy to put together (I put them together by myself) and they've held up well to two toddlers, climbing, jumping, etc. The finish has not scratched and the beds are sturdy. Although we paid less than *** for each one, they appear to be of a higher quality than you would expect for the price point. I highly recommend.

Beautiful! Even great for a Full size XL Mattress. I love this bed frame. I bought one in white a while back for my daughter's room. It came with a dent on the back of one of the legs, but we were on our way to Germany and did not have time to exchange it before our pack out. I'm glad I kept it though, even with the small defect, because it is simply stunning. I went on to buy three more full-size frames in the dark bronze for some rooms I was renting out, and they look great. They even hold a full size xl mattress. It's a snug fit, but it works.

Sturdy bed, super price! My daughter searched for months for an iron bed that had antique style without the antique price. We also wanted a bed sturdy enough for a teenager who flops on the bed rather than sits calmly! The bed is a perfect blend of style and function for a very reasonable price. It was very easy to assemble. My husband never reads, directions and he got it together quickly and without leftover parts!

Vintage Looking Bed I really love this bed it gives a great vintage feel. We are using it in our guest bedroom with a nautical theme and it looks amazing. It is a little darker in person, almost black. I used lighter colored linens so it helps lighten it up. I'm really disappointed that the bed had some really bad scratches right out of the box!

great bed Took longer to remove bed from packaging than to assemble. Instructions were wedged between packing foam and outer carton, but were clear and easy to follow. It went together easily. All parts were included and fit together without a problem. Bed has 3 metal cross supports, each with a leg, so this bed actually has 7 legs. Much sturdier than another fashion style metal bed I purchased 6 years ago. Bed is exactly what I wanted! Looks and feels very much like a bed from a high end retailer.

You can choose either based on your individual preference. The slats that support the box spring are about 7 inches from the ground.

The clearance under the bed is 6.7 inches, so a 7 inch drawer would not fit underneath. This bed also has center support legs, so the area under the bed is not completely open.

We have the queen (so the spacing may not be the same) for our three year old son and he hasn't had any issue with getting his head caught in between the bars.

At their widest, the vertical bars on the twin are spaced just shy of 6 inches apart. Your son's head will fit through easily (even mine does,) but should not get stuck (I'm 40, and mine doesn't. My kids are looking at me strangely now, though.)

We also have a queen size so probably not the same. As a nurse, Mom and Gramma I would not recommend this style for a 3 year old. Kids come up with all kinds of strange ways to injure themselves. a nice solid headboard would be much safer. Best wishes, Barbara M

Great Offer Stock says that it is, but I'm not sure how it would be - it has fixed crossbars. While those can be removed, the brackets for the crossbars cannot be, therefore decreasing the space between the side rails. However, if you change out the included rails, I guess you'd be fine.
