OK i took my chances with this table even though the ratings was low on it! Thing is this is the replicated version of the Shayne Table from Pottery Barn, and i went in 2 times to look at it and fell in love. The price was $499 on sale plus shipping/delivery and taxes which was a total of $679. No way couldn't do it so i settled for this one in Black thinking it was Walnut for some reason. I received it intact with everything there, and started working on it. Though its only a few pieces it took me by myself 5 hours to assemble and with anything worth waiting for in life, we shouldnt complain about it but wait for the final product to reach a verdict. I cleaned it up and pushed it against the wall and i have to say it looks amazing. It cleaned up nicely! I put crockery underneath and loved the classic black look. Now i purchased 2 of the Merlot Walnut X-back Chairs and theyre not going to match, but stealing design ideas from Pottery Barn, i had to find Sage Jacquard Fabric Full covers for my chairs to add the finishing touch i luckily found them in Target. I am waiting on the chairs and hope theyre as nice since the reviews were raving on that product. Right now im very happy with my table for a 1/4 of the price and lets see how it holds up with my messy 5 year old. This table is a replica of the Pottery Barn table and is a must have for a suave french country style look.
I purchased these two stools to use as nightstands in a house I was staging for sale. They worked fabulously for that purpose. Next, I moved them to a home in Hawaii, where Monkey Pod trees are a dominant part of the landscape. These stools have worked well for two years and have been pressed into service as nightstands, occasional tables, and stools. They still look great and are strong enough for the heaviest people to sit on them. An occasional wipe of furniture oil is all they need.
This media console is perfect. It came so well packaged it was amazing. Not a hint of any scratches or dings to start. This is what I call "real" furniture. No assembly, solid wood with beautiful walnut finish. The bronze finish on the metal parts is really gorgeous and overall this piece is one that looks true to a designer showroom piece that could easily sell for well over the price. We got lucky and got this on sale but I would not mind buying it for the full price again after living with this piece daily. It is really a beautiful piece of furniture and gets compliments every time we have visitors. I know this piece will last as long as we want it to because of the quality the manufacturer put into it. The white glove service was much appreciated on this piece because you need to be forewarned... it is heavy!
My dresser just arrived and it is truly gorgeous. The drawers glide well, open fully, don't fall out, and they have that sort of sticking pressure when you push them in. The finish is stunning. Delivery was white glove, it comes fully assembled in one box, despite the description below. Two men brought it in, unpacked, set it up, and cleared the mess. Tipping is not expected, but I did tip them because this weighs nearly 300 pounds and they were sweating bullets. they were very gracious and surprised that I tipped. I got it on that insane black Friday sale, so thank you! Just so you know, I had placed my purchase on the page showing the dark walnut, though the product description said I was ordering the two tone. I actually did get sent the dark walnut and I do not regret it at all. I like it better than the two tone. Now I hope I can get a good deal on the night tables. In short, I am very grateful for this item at this price because I wanted real grown up furniture, not particle board that I had to assemble. I couldn't have afforded this piece without that lucky day I logged on and got a huge discount. Once again, Great Offer Stock is my jam!
