I really like the feel of this on my feet when I get out of bed in the morning, plus I like to sit on it before getting in bed and doing some yoga stretches on it. I like that it has a non-slip rubberized backing too. It sheds a little at first, but I shook it and brushed it very lightly with my dog-brush, and after those loose hairs were out, it quit shedding.
