Avoid placing your furniture in direct sunlight and maintain atleast two feet between furniture and heat sources. Aniline andProtected leathers are especially sensitive to direct sunlight. Usea professional cleaner to help resist staining and prevent overallsoiling.

Econimical Shopper Purchased for spare bedroom to be used by guests/grandkids and as a alternate setting area. The quick assembly was done by our handyman and he added pads to the legs to protect hardwood floors. Ordered the dark gray and it has a contemporary feel with addition of throw pillows and a throw coverlet. Mattress for the top is 10" memory foam and the lower is 8" memory foam. Both fit perfectly and are very supportive for two pre-teen grandkids. Nothing negative to say at this juncture, met my needs. Would purchase again.

You win some, you lose someÂ… this one is a loser. First, let me say I am a veteran Great Offer Stock furniture buyer with A LOT of experience purchasing and putting together furniture. The back of this daybed is actually only a bar with a large open gap above the mattress where the wall shows through. Imagine a bench with only a top support bar across the back anchoring the two armsÂ… not like a sofa back as the photo appears. We had to re-build the back with a board to seal up the hole. The photo is very deceptiveÂ… they covered up the gap with pillows. Virtually every drill hole for assembly was improperly drilled at an angel or in a way that the holes do not line up with the supplied brackets - luckily my husband and brother are cabinet makers and had the skills to rebuild and re-align the whole thing or it would have been neither safe nor sturdy enough to handle any use. There are other reviews reflecting the fact that this daybed did not stand up to use; now that we have assembled it I can understand why. If you do not have the skills to re-engineer and reinforce this daybed I can not imagine how it could possibly withstand any regular use. Additionally, multiple washers and screws for assembly were left out - again, we were experienced enough to compensate with our own materials. Now that it is assembled it looks ok and my son loves it, but considering it has no back and we had to re-engineer the whole thing it was definitely not worth what was paid.

Cheap and weak My husband put this together easily and with NO problems. We've had the bed in my 14yr old sons room for aprox 6 weeks. He is a docile kid who only sleeps and plays video games in his room. He loves the look of the bed but it is already falling apart. When you sit on it it sways like one of the screws are loose or broken. This wasn't that inexpensive to only last a few weeks.

Awful product but looks nice The overall look of this is great. However, the first time it was sent to me, instructions and pieces were missing. They did fix this immediately though. After a few times sitting on it (I'm 120 pounds), the slats broke. I am glad I didn't let my 200 pound father sleep on this. Very unsafe!

Great buy I searched around for awhile and was not able to find anything as nice as this daybed within this price range. It was easy to put together which was great- as a women I managed without help. It is a big piece of furniture but very attractive. I am very happy with my purchase.

great value The only thing I would mention is that the trundle part of this day bed is sort of freestanding, so if you don't have it against a wall and you push the trundle under it will go past the back of the bed. This could be easily solved though with a couple of nails and some scrap wood. but if you have it against a wall it is a very nice piece.It looks great and for the money is very good quality. Of course up have to put it together - if you do this sort of thing often it won't take you long - maybe an hour or so. My nanny did it by herself in less than 60 min. :)

I have an 11 inch mattress on top and 9 inch on the bottom. Both work BUT I think the 11" makes the bed too high -- it looks unnatural for sitting (although great for sleeping). I also think the couch itself is very deep (the arms) and unless you have a room large enough to fit this daybed, it will look too large for the room.

The trundle in this set does fit a regular twin size mattress. We would recommend using a 10-inch thick or less mattress.

Hi Anna, I just now saw the email from Great Offer Stock. sorry for my delayed response . We just purchased this daybed and trundle because we moved into a smaller home and had 2 high quality twin XL mattresses that were our teenagers. This was the only daybed that accommodated the twin xl mattress that I could find. I read all the reviews and told my husband that one recommendation suggested to have Home DeDepot cut to size a thin piece of plywood and place them over the slats for the extra support - we did. standard measurements for twin xl are 39 x 80 inches so I assume your mattress would fit. If it is a deep mattress you will be ok the back of the couch is high and so are the arms .also there is room under the trundle for a deeper mattress you will just need to slightly lift the bed to pull it out . My youngest is now using the bed before she leaves for college in the fall. the trundle is for all her friends to visit this summer. but looks like a couch in her room otherwise. she chose the faux leather. other reviews said the linen seems cheaper looking as compared to the faux leather. Twin xl is perfect fit for top bed. Will not fit in trundle. Some reviews say regional twin works on top and leaves room at ends to tuck in bedding. Twin xl is a tight fit on top at each end which holds my cover tight and keeps it looking neat
