If you are very up-close, you can see that the fabric has a small brown and tan pattern, but it is almost microscopic. Overall, the look is dark coffee or chocolate brown, and the material, which isn't scratchy, covers everything, legs included..

The chairs have plastic tips that are slightly rounded. So they will not scratch your floors. The legs are even the chair is light weight but very sturdy.. Well constructed. The fabric makes them look very stylish and modern. And they are a great value

I was also concerned about that! I am beginning a renovation of my kitchen and am planning to stack these chairs in an area by my new cupboards (space is limited) and so haven't actually used these chairs yet on my wood floor, however, the chair legs have a hard black plastic bottom on them that I think will be just fine on the floors. I would be surprised if they scratched the floors at all. I love these chairs!

I use them only when I need extra seating, not daily, but they seem very sturdy (some larger-sized men have used the chairs comfortably). They are nice looking and the material is strong.and durable. Good price, too. Who would have though that a former Brady Bunch kid would be selling furniture on Great Offer Stock in 2016?
