I just received this headboard (king size) and have not yet assembled it. It seems all the pieces are included and should be easy (will update if otherwise). The material feels durable and i really love the look and style. The price is on point and hard to beat for a headboard with the side wings that go to the floor like this does. I love the finished look they add to it! I wanted to write this review because when i chose this headboard, i knew i was taking a chance. I couldn't find the measurement for the actual headboard itself....i wanted to make sure we wouldn't have a gap in the back and you need that measurement to know! The headboard itself is only 26 inches (from top to bottom). If you look at the picture, it looks much wider. In fact, if you look really closely behind the bottom corner of the pillow in the picture....you will see black!! Because the pillows are staged to hide the gap and make this headboard seem much wider than it actually is. We bought a 12 inch mattress and we're undecided between the 14 or 16 inch foundation....we bought the 14 but now have to exchange it for the 16 so that the height of our mattress sits at 28 inches high. This SHOULD just meet the bottom of the headboard and hopefully leave us without an gap in the back. I'm going to be really upset if when we assemble this in a few days (when are mattress arrives), we have to go even higher for the 18 in high foundation just to avoid a gap (or buy a mattress topper). I just wish i knew the measurements from the start (it should be listed) and that the picture wasn't so fake and deceiving. Someone with a standard 14 inch high foundation and only an 8 or 10 inch mattress would not be able to use this headboard! I will definitely update my review once we assemble our entire king size bed (upgrading from queen to king). UPDATE: We finally assembled our entire new king size bed. We ended up sticking with the 14 inch foundation instead of the 16 inch (height from the ground). And we have a 12 inch mattress on top. My measurements above were correct and as you can see in the photo, there is a small gap with our 14 inch foundation. The 16 inch would have been perfect but I'm okay with this for now! We well eventually get some kind of topper to close that small gap. I also attached a picture from far away to show the TRUE height of this headboard!! Def different looking from the advertised picture. Otherwise, I'm extremely happy with this purchase and love the way it looks! You really can't beat it for the price!!
