Cute and functional Super easy to switch to chaise or bed. The mattress is fairly thin and I would recommend a foam cushion on it under the sheets. It would not do well as someone's every day bed but in a pinch, it works. For seating, it's a little deep so we added throw pillows which makes it quite comfortable.

Super comfy After moving our kiddo to their own room, I needed something for overnight feedings or nights when frequent wakings from illness made it easier to just sleep in their room. This is more perfect than I anticipated. It's extremely comfortable! I keep one arm up most of the time so that I can easily lay down or have an arm to prop against. It's very cozy with both arms up or long enough for my husband to lay on without his feet hanging off when fully open. The back pillows are on the thin side though not uncomfortable to me. ..yet. The low leg height that some reviewers dislike is an asset for my mobile and uncoordinated kid. I like the texture of the fabric. It's smooth without being too slick. Overall, I'm very happy with this and look forward to using it as a reading nook when it's out of my kiddo's room.

I find the little sofa to be a comfortable single bed just by lowering the arm rests into flat position and not fooling with the back support, which screws into place. I'm sure detaching it can't be hard. Not something I'd want to do and undo every day, however.
