"What is the space between slats? I am going to get a mattress that needs 3" between slats. I am wondering why this dimension isn't entered in all of the platform beds? I almost always have had to go the the Q and A to either ask or scroll through the Q and A to find if the question has already been answered. Quite annoying."

Much better than Ikea Very pleased with this bed. Wasn't too cumbersome to assemble. I did it by myself in another an hour with the help of an electric screw gun. I'd say the color seems a little darker than the pictures here but other than that im pretty happy. I have a 10 inch tuft and needle mattress on it in a 10 by 11 ft room for the queen bed . Bedroom looks awesome. The slats are not flimsy like Ikea and have actual screws you need to drill into the bed. Make sure you have an electric screw gun , you'll be all set.

Solid Very happy with this bed. Easy enough to assemble. Impresssed with the solid construction for the price. I wish the headboard was a little taller. With my 15 inch mattress there is about 12 inches of headboard exposed. I would buy this bed again.

Great Bed It arrived in 3 days. There is quite a bit of assembly required- you definitely need another person and you have to screw in every slat separately (highly recommend a drill/ electric screwdriver). The bed looks exactly like it does in the ad. There is plenty of room underneath for under-the-bed storage boxes.

Mr. Bed is nice, but hardware is not always good. Predrilled holes for screws to attach bracket happened to be not deep enough, so one of screws got it's head broken off 1/8" before complete insertion. I had to drill two more holes in bracket and in bed frame to attach bracket with proper reliability. It was also very funny task to drill holes in 14 transverse beams and side planks without any marking of desirable position of these holes by manufacturer. I was necessary to measure distance between each of 14 beams precisely first and apply oil on screws to prevent screws from being broken at insertion. But, after everything was done, bed happened to be very good.

simple stylish bed of excellent quality Received this bed in 3 days. The instruction was very clear and the design of the bed mechanical system is super efficient. It took me 30 minutes to put it together including the time spent on unpacking. The bed came in two well packed boxes and there was no damage to any part. For each time of the fixtures and screws, there was always an extra one left after assembling. The construction is quite sturdy. I had a power screw driver so it was very easy throughout the whole process. I use an 11-in mattress alone and the height is just about right for me. For those of you who like taller bed this is not for you.

Great bed I really liked the style of this bed and it was exactly the size I was looking for right down to the height of the headboard. There are 14 platform slats and the gaps between them are pretty small so I was able to use it with my memory foam mattress without anything else. Simple for me to assemble by myself but I do recommend an electric screwdriver. It is also the perfect height for under-bed storage boxes which I wanted to use. Very sturdy construction and excellent support with 4 floor supports besides the bed legs. Overall an excellent value for the price.

Beautiful wood! The bed just arrived yesterday, and so far I love it! The wood is really beautiful and not too shiny like a lot of other pieces I've seen. It was super easy to put together (although I'd recommend a power screwdriver to make the slat-assembly faster). The two support beams and slat structure appear to be really sound and sturdy. Very, very happy! And can't beat the price!

Great looking bed frame! I really like this bed frame. The headboard is a little shorter than I had imagined but it fits well with the rest of my room. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because one of the long bed rails was warped like a banana!! It was very slight and doesn't affect the functionality of the bed because there is a lot of adjustment, but still, where was the quality control!!! Otherwise, great value!

Well... The bed itself is great. Lightweight to move and fits our decor. But this bed was obviously a return. And it has also been recently discontinued. There wer several digs in the wood and I normally would have returned it. But I have been without a bed forseveral months and starting the search all over again would be agony.
