In the end, a very nice-appearing bonded leather bed that is both comfortable and elegant, especially considering the price. It is not easy to assemble and the joints of the side boards with the headboard and footboard were not well made, making it very difficult to fit together (may require a rubber mallet). As with other Great Offer Stock purchases, there was an excess of some supplementary parts (bolts, odds and ends) but with insufficient washers... which unfortunately are a necessary part for the integrity of the under-structure of the bed. I cannibalized a few washers from another part of the bed, but this was quite frustrating. Also, the headboard is not securely enough attached to the sideboards to prevent pivoting/swaying of the headboard, which is prevented if the bed (headboard) is securely pressed against the wall. Again, unfortunately but with the price I suppose I can't complain too much.
