Too big I love the sconces that are like this, but I find this one too big to be elegant. It would be alright on a large wall. I had to hang mine horizontal, so maybe it's just not right for my space. Would recommend the bowl shaped ones for sure.

Beautiful but BIG I knew the measurements when I ordered it, but seeing it in person I was unsure about the big size. We bought it to replace the ugly sconce on our stairs. The instructions weren't that great, but it took my husband only a couple of minutes to install. At first he installed it exactly like in the picture, the straight edge at the bottom. It takes two bulbs, and after installing the bulbs we were able to see the bulbs when going up the stairs. We ended up flipping it upside down so the straight edge is at the top and that took care of the problem. I have to say it's so beautiful. We've already gotten a ton of compliments on it!
