This rug is very soft and, as others have said, it's quite lovely. I only gave it 4 stars, though, because the size is off. I purchased an 8x10 but what arrived is closer to 7x9. Luckily, it still works for the space...but barely. It will also need a rug pad, as it's a bit thin and slick. Aside from those little things, though, this is a fantastic purchase and I'm very happy with it.
