I love this monitor mount! It was surprisingly easy to assemble and install, I took my time and it probably was up and in use within an hour (that includes the time it took me to clear off my desk too).
The arms are adjustable, and you can tweak the settings to either lock the monitors in place, or balance them so that you can raise/lower them on the fly. The base of the monitor mount has plug ports that you can use, and the arms have built in cord tamers (for the monitors). The whole assembly attaches to your desk by either clamp or bolt, depending on your preference. I opted for the clamp method. And since I have a glass desktop, I scrounged around to find two pieces of wood shelving for the clamp to grab (help disperse the weight and make this a feasible attachment).
The end product is very nice. With my desk setup the way I have now, I can use it as a standing workstation. The only drawback of the monitor arm that I've found? When you have the monitors side by side in landscape position, the arms can't be flush against the wall. If I want monitors flush against the wall, I need to use one of my monitors in landscape, the other in vertical. No big deal.
This will be really nice, because when I am tired of using my workstation as a standing desk, I can just pull the monitors out and down before pulling up a chair. Then I would be able to use the monitors side by side in landscape, since I'd probably want them a bit closer.
