I wear a size 8, which in Italy is a bit big and they didn't have many styles I liked. Disappointed, I came home and searched for a pair here, and these are really what I need. The size was just right, a true 8. I would buy another pair but I've hints heavily so hopefully my family will get them for me!

Very Nice Gloves, not made in Italy These are very nice gloves... great leather and cashmere lining. I always buy Portolano and was happy to find them at this great price. The size is fine! Not sure why others said they ran small... they are sized exactly as per every other pair of high quality gloves that I have ever bought! 1 star taken off for the fact that these are NOT made in Italy as it is stated. The pair I received are made in the Philippines.

average I purchased these gloves for a friend before reading the reviews saying they have a tendency to rip. Well, sure enough, she had them for a week before a little tear started to appear. I would not recommend spending this amount of money for gloves that rip.

Runs very small I have very small hands. As in, my ring size is a 4 and my palm is 3 inches across. So naturally, I ordered the smallest size in these gloves. Th size 6 was VERY tight, and as these gloves are now marked final sale, they are non-returnable. If you order them, plan on going up a size.
